Sound City captures the vibrancy of the city with an unforgettable 3 day festival that sees established names perform alongside a constant stream of local, national and international emerging talent.

It is a place to discover the giants of tomorrow and has consistently delivers in terms of being amongst the first to present the best new talent to a music loving audience and world class business audience. Being one of the first to host huge names like Ed Sheeran, Florence and the Machine, Stormzy, Jungle, Alt-J, Paloma Faith, The 1975, Christine & The Queens, Years & Years and many many more at the beginning of their musical careers.

Sound City is the UK lead festival for Keychange an initiative to achieve a 50:50 gender balance by 2022. The festival proudly achieved a 50:50 gender balance across the festival lineup and conference speakers in 2019. They have continued to achieve that with their lineup, Launch training and artist development schemes, staff and music board and year on year they strive to achieve the Keychange pledge in everything they do.
