A statement from Baltic Creative CIC

Following recent events, we have spent the past week listening, reading, learning and internally reflecting on the issues relating to the Black Lives Matter movement. At Baltic Creative, we stand in solidarity with those who are against racism and hate crime and support the people of Liverpool who are peacefully making their voices heard.
We are passionate about creating environments which champion diversity and inclusivity, but we acknowledge that more can be done. We will continue to explore how we can make changes, continue our learnings, and support our local communities.
However, we know that now is the time for action, not just words. Behind the scenes, we are putting plans in place so that we can implement change, but as a community-minded organisation, we would value your view to help us shape what that looks like.
We would like to offer an open invitation to anyone in the digital and creative sector to get in touch with us to share your insights, experiences and ideas, so that we can grow our community in a way that is more representative of the fantastically multi-cultural city that Liverpool is.
If you would like to talk to us about diversity and inclusivity, please contact either our Chair, Fiona Armstrong-Gibbs via info@baltic-creative.com or Managing Director, Mark Lawler via markl@baltic-creative.com
