Earlier this year, we welcomed three new businesses to our spaces: industry network Inclusive Companies, photographer Kate Swerdlow and Cleversteam, a global digital agency.
A steady number of businesses still choose the Baltic Triangle to base their business. For this reason, the area continues to be a haven for the creative and digital sector, which employs over 21,000 people across Liverpool.

Cleversteam
Cleversteam combines design and technology to create smart solutions for clients. Focusing on travel and sport, the company deliver a range of projects for companies and organisations across the world. After working remotely at first, the company decided to find a permanent base for their growing team.
Managing Director, Dan Nicholson, said:
We’re delighted to be back in Liverpool City Centre, in particular the Baltic Triangle. Our software, Hanover, is the work and travel industry’s leading CRM system. We look forward to continuing to grow it from our new base in the heart of Liverpool’s creative community.
Inclusive Companies
Joining Cleversteam in Digital House, is Inclusive Companies – a membership body, harnessing best practices and innovation to drive inclusivity. The business specialises in connecting thought leaders, businesses and communities.
Their Inclusive Awards is the only awards ceremony that rewards organisations for harnessing a truly diverse workforce and recognises commitment to equality and inclusion across all strands of diversity. Additionally, they assist employers to champion an inclusive environment and run events covering topics which range from strategies to address equity, to the power of LGBTQ+ networks and autism in the workplace.

Meanwhile in Northern Lights, we’ve welcomed photographer Kate Swerdlow. She has specialised in portrait and events photography for over 12 years and is looking forward to welcoming clients into her new studio in the heart of the Baltic. Kate spent many years in London, before reevaluating her priorities post-lockdown to look for a slower pace of life. She said:
Everything I needed was answered in the decision to join the Baltic Creative family. Their collaborative energy and inclusive vibe give me a warmth that living in London would never be able to deliver. I couldn’t be prouder to contribute to the area and make it an experience for families and creatives to visit my studio.
These three distinct businesses bring something new to our spaces and we can’t wait to work with them in future. Our buildings are now home to over 180 businesses, altogether adding to a fantastic community of innovators! We’re constantly looking for ways to reinvest in our services and provide opportunities for our tenants to connect.
