We’re delighted to be ending the year on a high after finding out that we have been shortlisted for the Impact Award – Sustainable Business in Arts at the LCR Culture & Creativity Awards 2020.
The award celebrates businesses that are sustainable and make a significant contribution to economic growth within the arts, culture and creativity sector and we’re in good company, with the shortlist including some of the region’s most inspiring businesses.

“We’re over-the-moon to receive this recognition and it’s some positive news at the end of what has been a very tough year for so many. As a team, we’ve worked tirelessly over the last 10 years with our partners and funders to redevelop previously derelict and disused buildings in the Baltic Triangle, bringing them back to life to provide affordable space for the city’s digital and creative community. Thanks to our eclectic mix of tenants, it’s now a hub of activity and collaboration – something we’re incredibly proud to be a part of. We are looking forward to the awards and everything that the future holds for Baltic Creative CIC and our community in 2021 – watch this space!”

Our creative and digital community generated £16.6m GVA per annum in the financial year 2018-19 which represents an increase of over 60% in two years.
