Originally from Kenya, Geraldine Achieng has worked with the Merseyside Youth Association, the Women’s Health Information & Support Centre (WHISC) and the Basement Advisory Centre to highlight lack of employment opportunities for students and promote positive mental wellbeing, particularly in men from minority communities.
Geraldine co-founded events company DATWAYSEASONS at the heart of Liverpool to promote the Northwest region between 2017 to 2020, inspiring the creation of Black Empowerment digital platform: The Noire Review. She currently works as a PR Executive and as part of Liverpool City Council’s Race and Equality taskforce, campaigning to prioritise health, housing and employment issues that affect boroughs in Liverpool.
