Clemens Wangerin

Clemens Wangerin has been part of the games industry since 1993. After moving to Liverpool in 1997 to work at local company Psygnosis, Clemens became Studio Director when it merged with Sony Computer Entertainment. Clemens left Sony in 2009 and since then has been involved in several technology start-ups in the city. He is currently Managing Director of Starship, an innovation company focussing on Virtual Reality, and has close ties to The Studio school, where he is a member of the Board of Governors.

Clemens is an experienced senior business executive with an international background and a strong mix of cross-cultural, interpersonal skills cultivated during 20+ years of working in the digital entertainment industry. He is an industry expert in games, Virtual Reality (VR), social VR and mobile with a verifiable track record of high quality software development, leading and growing creative teams, start ups, new markets and raising investment.
